Wigs and Hats Oh My

I'm still here, still knitting and volunteering!

The exhibition of dresses from 1910-1915 at Huntington was a hit during the Holiday House Tour. Since we don't have another dress exhibit going up for some time, the Ladies and I can "relax." This translates into getting our collection in order *again* and some maintenance.

I volunteered to make the wigs pretty.Wigs being washed in the bathtub. Finished wig that has been brushed and pinned to a styrofoam head.

Now, before Thanksgiving I promised my friend Mary that I would knit her mom a hat. I finished the blimey thing last night.
I used TLC's Amore in color Red Velvet. I used size nine needles, and Kim's Hat pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts. I still have a ton of Red Velvet left over, and I think I will finally knit a scarf for the Red Scarf project.

Now, I have two more knitting projects that need to be done by Christmas. A kitty hat for my niece and a nosewarmer for my friend Julie (who calls it a "nose mitten"). Both ladies want their knitted goods in purple.
BWHAHAHA!
