YA Books

The past few weeks have been quite busy with school, so no pictures to post tonight. I have been working on the lace rib knitted scarf.

I'm currently working on a bibliographic essay on "books that make teens smile." In order to prepare for the essay, my past two weeks have involved speed-reading YA novels. Here are the ones I've read:
Hope Was Here by Joan Bauer
Son of the Mob and No More Dead Dogs Gordon Korman
The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend
Vegan, Virgin, Valentine and The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler
King Dork by Frank Portman
Holes by Louis Sachar
Weetzie Bat by Francesca Lia Block

I will probably start reading Surviving the Applewhites, by Setphanie S. Tolan, after dinner. My current "grownup" reading is the second book of the Dresden Files, Fool Moon.
