So right now my dog is sitting on my bed, and I'm anxiously watching to make sure she doesn't make a jump *off* the bed. (For those not in the know, Misty is a seven pound toy poodle ... who is fourteen years old and quite possibly blind in one eye. She is adorable).
However, I have asomething pretty I wish to share.
Foliage by Emilee Mooney. Knit on US 7 dpns and US 5 dpns. Used about half a skein of Cascade 220 Superwash Paints in Tropical Punch. Took a grand FIVE days to knit up.
I really liked this pattern, and it was the first time I knit a hat from the top down. I think I have enough for a *second* hat, so I'll be starting that this afternoon. Plus, this hat *made* me go the LYS to buy some Susan Bates US 5 dpns ... in which I entered Knitting on the Lamb, declared the store dangerous, and asked for some needles. Happily, the store owner is used to me coming in every few months or so, declaring the place dangerous, and then seeing me twitch in delight at all the beautiful yarn.

Beauteous!! I've been eyeing that pattern for a while, and now I just HAVE to make it. Very cute.
Jenny has a toy poodle of similar proportions- about the same age, half blind in both eyes, almost deaf, and no teeth so his tongue lolls out. His name is Buttons and he is the Ecdysiast unoffical mascot. Its almost unhealthy how much we adore Buttons.
