I know I am a reasonably intelligent person, as I can drive a car, get dressed (though I have gotten stuck in dresses at H&M. Damn sizing/zippers), bake excellent cookies, have a college degree, and navigate the New York City subway system ... with knitting in tow.
Yet I managed to get my hand stuck in my dog's cage on Friday night (rolls eye). I decided that it would be easier to stick my hand through the bars of Misty's cage than *opening* the door ... and wound up stuck. My mother had to get me out.
Despite this ... charming habit of mine of getting stuck in dog cage's (and managing to bruise my thigh something terrifically on Tuesday, when I walked right into my open car door), I did have a very eventful week.
Wednesday was the Yarn Harlot at the Borders in Columbus Circle, NYC. I met some wonderful ladies from Ravelry, and I think all the knitters in the room made the Borders staff somewhat nervous. You could see them thinking, "Gah! The publicist was right! There are a lot of them! ...and they have pointy sticks!"
I also got to meet the Yarn Harlot, and hold the traveling sock!
